As a regular customer of this company I am writing to say how extremely disappointed I was with the grooming done in my dogs.
They are Pugaliers - pugs crossed with cavaliers. My dogs exhibit the traits and looks of cavaliers, however, the groomer did not know what they looked like and proceeded to remove all their feathering, their feet were cut to look like Labradors, they no longer have the long hair on their ears or torsos. The cut of the dogs is very uneven - it looks like the person was shaking when they had the shaver in their hands. I had to cut long random strands that were left.
When I called to complain about the overall condition of the dogs, the owner, Tina did not take responsibility for the groomer as she was a temp. Apparently the dogs regular groomer was away. It should have been the owners responsibility to inform me that their regular groomer was away and given me the option of waiting for her return. Instead, she saw dollar signs! Tina then proceeded to try to turn this into our fault by saying that the groomer only did what was requested! I beg to differ as we know how our dogs should be groomed and they certainly shouldn't end up looking the way they did!
Tina offered us a "generous" discount next time we were in. The level of service and satisfaction was extremely poor and as the owner was extremely rude, we will be taking our business elsewhere. She ended up shouting at me that they had been there for 10 years and their business was good and that they rely on word of mouth referrals and I could bad mouth them all I want! She then hung up on me. If you value how your dogs are groomed, don't frequent this business.
