Male employee was in shop with no customers so he was not busy.
I asked if he had a case for the (top-selling) Galaxy J1. Given the boasting on their website that they DO stock hard to get accessories for what they call 'pre-paid' phones, I didn't expect the rude, condescending boorish reaction.
In a nutshell, he said that they don't stock accessories for phones that he considers 'cheap', then quoted very inaccurate figures & said that 'nobody' would pay for a leather case for a $80 phone.
Firstly, Galaxy J1 phones can be either pre-paid or OUTRIGHT. Mine is the latter, therefore NOT $80. It still needs a case no matter what I paid for it (this detail was beyond him), so who is he to tell me what I want to pay or should pay, & how dare he make such rude remarks about my purchase decisions?
In short, he couldn't have been ruder or more offensive. He offered no suggestions, his tone was sneering throughout & he resented even having to get out of his seat to show me the pathetic 'range' of items they stock for the J1. So much for the gushing claims on their website, & so much for giving business to local shops!
I have bought exactly what I want online, with no difficulty. I am telling everyone I know about this boorish person & advising them to go elsewhere.
