At Cosmetic and Laser Medical Centre we strive to provide our patients with the latest proven advances in nonsurgical cosmetic treatments. Since 1986 when we started with the revolutionary Copper Vapour laser, for the treatment of Port Wine Stain birthmarks, we have continued to research, test, upgrade and expand our equipment and treatment capabilities.
We currently have around 18 different Laser and energy based machines and devices that allow us to offer our patients a range of state of the art non-surgical treatment options. Since the approval of Anti-wrinkle injections for cosmetic use in Australia in 2002, the nonsurgical cosmetic side of our practice has continued to grow. We provide a large variety of nonsurgical injection, needling and dermal therapy based treatments for anti-ageing and skin rejuvenation.
We continue to keep our staff trained in the latest developments and advancements in Laser Medicine and Cosmetic Medicine and they regularly attend both national and international meetings and symposiums to keep updated. We have long established relationships and memberships with many authoritative bodies including the CPCA (Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia), ASLMS (American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery), ANZSP (Australian and New Zealand Society of Phlebology), ACP (Australasian Society of Phlebology), ACP (American College of Phlebology) and the AMA (Australian Medical Association).
